Owned and operated by Chef Melissa and her family since 2019, Thai Cuisine Ramen King & Sushi Bar has become a mainstay in the community by offering a dining experience that is hard to forget. We specialize in authentic Thai cuisine as well as some of the best staples from Japan: ramen and sushi.

  • Our Origins

Chef Melissa, a native of Thailand, became a master chef through a dedication to culinary tradition. She has ensured that the food that comes out of her kitchens is continually met with rave reviews. Her family and trusted staff are helping her build a legacy in Texas as a food destination.

  • The Inspiration

Like the handful of culinary capitals of Thailand, Houston is still redefining itself based around food. The highly-trained staff at both of our locations prepare dishes that have stood the test of time while introducing new flavors.

  • Authentic with a Twist

We offer a diverse menu of Asian food without being confusing. The first restaurant Chef Melissa opened took over a place known for ramen. She kept the Japanese fare around, and the sushi is more popular than ever. Essentially, we strive to suits the taste of even large families that can’t agree on food by having fresh, unique or classic dishes as well as exquisite dessert. Of course, we also strive to also control spice levels uniformly.

Modern Thai Restaurant

The Concept

We are a family-style restaurant with a casual, cheerful vibe and lovely interior. Our hardworking staff will provide hearty meals with classic or sometimes clever dishes intended to approach the higher-end of Thai cuisine. Our second location that recently opened is even larger than the first, and we continue to book a variety of performers for live entertainment, mostly on weekends. Our cocktail bar and sushi bar are major attractions and productions of their own. We also make it possible for you to host with us in private event rooms. Catering services for large orders are also available. This all amounts to a dining experience you won’t want to miss at Katy’s top Asian restaurant.
